This camp is for Kaurs aged 8-16, who would like to deepen their love for Sikhi with inspirational sangat. It’s a place where Kaurs can be around amazing Sangat and have their love for Sikhi grow. The Sevadaars, Workshop Topics, Gatka and all darbars will be coordinated by up and coming Kaur Sevadars in our local Sikh community.
Campers will meet at 4pm on July 10th at Khalsa School Old Yale Road (10677 124th Street) and return on July 13th at 6pm at Khalsa School Old Yale Road.

Summer Camp is for youth between the ages of 8 and 18. There will be a focus on leadership skills as well as connecting our campers to their Sikh heritage. We will also be teaching Gatka and shastar vidiaa. Every day will include morning and evening darbars, workshops, high ropes course, zip-line, rock climbing, paintball, horseback riding, kayaking, archery, adventure training and a lot more, where they can strengthen their leadership skills and as any good leader, step outside their comfort zone.
World-renowned Gatka Ustaad, Bhai Onkar Singh Khalsa will be leading the instruction at camp.
Campers will meet at 1pm on July 17th at Khalsa School Old Yale Road (10677 124th Street) and return on July 21st between 11am-12pm at Khalsa School Old Yale Road.

Sidak is an intensive two – week educational experience that focuses on the Sikh way of living, and outlines different aspects of the history and ideology. This immersion in Sikh culture, language, values and community, through understanding bani (scripture), tvarikh (history), and rahit (discipline), will be held from 23 July – 5 August 2017 by the Sikh Research Institute.
Sidak consists of three different programs that run simultaneously for two weeks:
- Gurbani 101: Introduction to Guru Granth Sahib
- Sikhi 101: Introduction to Sikh History & Theology
- Sikhi 201: Religion & Revolution

Thank you for your interest in Sidak Junior Camp! This program is an excellent way for young children to get to know and interact with other children in a stimulating Sikhi learning environment.
The camps theme will be Sabad Guru. The lessons and content for the kids are inspired & created from Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The camp is being hosted by the Sikh Research Institute.
The days will go from 8:30am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Parents will be responsible for picking up and dropping off their kids on time. The kids will be able to participate in different activities including hiking, archery, rock climbing, high-ropes course, or kayaking.
Sidak Junior Camp is available for kids 7 to 12 years old.

The 3rd annual Sikh Spirit Bike Ride will be on Saturday August 12, 2017; this bike ride is to increase awareness about the Sikh Religion. We are riding for healthy minds, bodies and souls. We have riders from Europe, United States, India and Canada. Registration fee is $50. All riders are encouraged to raise $200 each to cover costs of the ride and also to donate for more recreational programming at Khalsa Centre. Khalsa Centre’s 6th Annual Winter Camp will be held from December 19th to 22nd and is for youth between the ages of 8 to 16 with a focus on teaching Sikh principles and Sikh history in a fun and relaxed environment. Over the course of the week the youth will be exposed to Sikh ideologies and aspects of Sikh spirituality. This years camp theme is ME. How do I take care of me? How do I feed my soul with naam? How do I take care of my kes? How do I do my patka/dastaar?
Every day will include morning and evening darbars, workshops, and recreational activities. We will be going on a 2 field-trips during this camp – ice-skating and a trampoline park.
Fees for Winter Camp is $100 per camper. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

This years camp theme will be the 19 Birds of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. We will discuss the birds and their significance/metaphors the Guru jis used the birds for.
We will meet on March 20 at 1pm at Khalsa School Old Yale Road (10677 124th Newton). We will return to Khalsa School Old Yale Road on March 23rd around 12pm.
